organized 1 more around Redefining Careers in Prague net Spring. See the page about this research on Facebook for more information. The ISP Re-designing Spaces consists of 2 programs: 1. The Student Intensive Study Program (S-ISP) around Guerrilla and 2. The Professional Intensive Study Program (P-ISP) around Intervention. Both students and teachers are going to work on projects that redesign space. Below a concise description of the different programs:

S-ISP: The Guerrilla-Project translates dance to the public space by an existing marketing strategy and even older military attack mode used in several wars around the world: Instant, in disguise and unexpected. Performance can be gone before you realize it. It is quite a direct approach to intervene the public space, the moving crowd, the city landscape. With the Guerrilla tactic you break into the space, but with great conscious of the rules & conventions and with great awareness of the experience of people moving through the space. It is not a flash mob where the boundaries of a dance performance are set and recognizable. It is a nuanced intervention directly connected to the intention of a choreographer and movement language. P-ISP of Redesigning Spaces welcomes dance teachers, choreographers, theorists and dancers. This intensive week can be best described as a program week where your own ideas around dance & performing in public space can be brought in to redesign or reconsider. The work ethic for the professional program is action-based in connection to (re)thinking our dance practice. We literally come out of our comfortable studio zone to dance into widely accessible and functional public spaces. The content for this program comes from 3 different approaches, related to current developments in dance & public spaces around the world. These 3 angles give direction in how you can create dance as a medium to redesign the public space. How can dance function in contemporary public gatherings and social habitat? How can we consider methods of ex*****on to realize impact by dance performance, dance happenings and spatial-oriented strategy to create dance? Exploration by 3 themes:
1. Dance in the museum
2. Dance Intervention
3. Dance by design
