This project was being cooked for a long time but only now was possible to make it happen!

This SUMMIT it's not exclusive for jazz or classical musicians; it's not only for amateurs or professionals; it's for EVERYONE that enjoys to play this beautiful instrument no matter what, it's a grounding point for something really special! 🎷

Join us at this SUMMIT, an exciting day full of activities such as, saxophone orchestra, improvisation workshop, "Sax meets Ableton Live" workshop, lectures and much more!
To close the day we will still have a fantastic concert with Artvark + Leo van Oostrom, presenting their new CD, a very interesting program with historical saxophones.

Our goal is to improve the network between saxophone players in Tilburg - Brabant - The Netherlands and hopefully, some day, Worldwide! 😎

Our ambition is big but for that we need you!

Dit project werd al lang bekokstoofd maar kon nu pas gerealiseerd worden!

Deze SUMMIT is niet exclusief voor jazz of klassieke muzikanten; het is niet alleen voor amateurs of professionals; het is voor IEDEREEN die geniet van het bespelen van dit prachtige instrument, wat er ook gebeurt, het is een basis voor iets heel bijzonders! 🎷

Doe mee aan deze SUMMIT, een spannende dag vol activiteiten zoals, saxofoon orkest, improvisatie workshop, "Sax meets Ableton Live" workshop, lezingen en nog veel meer!
Als afsluiting van de dag hebben we nog een fantastisch concert met Artvark + Leo van Oostrom, die hun nieuwe CD presenteren, een zeer interessant programma met historische saxofoons.

Ons doel is om het netwerk tussen saxofonisten in Tilburg - Brabant - Nederland en hopelijk ooit wereldwijd te verbeteren! 😎

Was in the end of 2019 that I've decided to start spread the word about my private saxophone teaching in Tilburg, we were only 4, including myself.
In 2020 we changeg to our new home--> Paradox Broedplaats
We have grown!
Today, besides several pandemic waves, we keep strong!
Our studio has today 9 students and 1 intern from Fontys Hogeshcool voor de Kunsten!
Shortly after arriving to the Netherlands I started to teach once in awhile, it was a new beginning of a pedagogical carrer already started in Portugal a couple of years before at Conservatório Regional de Vila de Real and Escola Profissional de Espinho.
I had the luck to meet so many kind and gentle people eager to learn the instrument, their passion towards the saxophone is truly inspiring and it's what makes me love my job so much!

We will be around in 2022, hopefully with less restrictions and new pictures!
These pictures are already from last year, one of the quartet sessions we organize every month!

Was eind 2019 dat ik heb besloten om te beginnen met het verspreiden van het woord over mijn privé saxofoon les in Tilburg, we waren slechts 4, inclusief mezelf.
In 2020 zijn we verhuisd naar onze nieuwe huis-> Paradox Broedplaats
We zijn gegroeid!
Vandaag de dag, naast verschillende pandemische golven, blijven we sterk!
Onze studio heeft vandaag de dag 9 studenten en 1 stagiaire van Fontys Hogeshcool voor de Kunsten!
Kort na mijn aankomst in Nederland begon ik af en toe les te geven, het was een nieuw begin van een pedagogische carrière die al een paar jaar eerder in Portugal was begonnen aan het Conservatório Regional de Vila de Real en Escola Profissional de Espinho.
Ik had het geluk zoveel aardige en vriendelijke mensen te ontmoeten die het instrument graag wilden leren. Hun passie voor de saxofoon is echt inspirerend en dat maakt dat ik zo van mijn werk houd!

We zullen er weer zijn in 2022, hopelijk met minder beperkingen en nieuwe foto's!
Deze foto's zijn al van vorig jaar, een van de kwartet sessies die we elke maand organiseren!
