Telders International Law Moot Court Competition The Telders Competition is a moot court competition on international law, which is held yearly in The Hague, the Netherlands.

The Telders International Law Moot Court Competition passed its 30th milestone in 2007, and is still going strong. Since its humble beginnings in 1977, when only four universities took part, the Competition has today become the most prestigious and important moot court competition in Europe. Annually, teams from over 40 universities compete in the national rounds, with the winning teams going on t

o represent their countries in the international rounds held at Faculty Campus The Hague of Leiden University and the Peace Palace in The Hague.

Congratulations to the Applicant Team from Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf, Winner of the Final Round of the Telders Moot Competition 2025; Finalist Team Respondent from Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen, and Leiden Law School, Winners of the Max Huber Award for Highest Overall Score.

A heartfelt thank you to Final Bench Judges Dire Tladi, Liesbeth Lijnzaad and Greg French; authors of the case Dispute concerning Climate Change Obligations and Maritime Boundaries Lara Ibrahim and Dominic Bielby, Semi-Final Judges, International Board of Review Members, Judge Assistants, and, of course, all 27 participating teams & their fantastic coaches.

The 48th edition of the Telders moot will be held in City of The Hague - Municipality from 5 to 7 June 2025. Registration for Teams until 6 December, registration for Judges starts in February 2025.
