Last week saw a visit to the International Criminal Court in The Hague. Highly impressive and interesting to the group to see the only UN institution in The Hague!

The Hague Summer School continues, this time with the theme of Peace & Justice! This is from the opening last Sunday. Our motivated group of students is going to visit many organizations in The Hague dedicated to Peace and Justice (and hopefully survive the heat!)

Proud to present the end of the first edition of this year's Summer School! All our students worked very hard and had some wonderful ideas about how to improve the world. We're sure that we will be hearing from them very soon again and, in any case, we want to thank them for attending!

Of course no trip to The Netherlands is complete without a trip to Amsterdam! Not just for fun, the groups discovered some quirks of Amsterdam even Dutch people may not know about. It is the strength of the hands on approach The Hague Summer School has!

This is the group for one of our electives, the Local Impact of Global Migration. They are mapping the visible and invisible signs of migration in The Hague, which they can use to be more conscious of the way the world works (including in their own city). Good luck to them!

The first students will be arriving today! We are very excited and wanted to give you a tip for this weekend. At Grote Markt there is a nice festival this weekend, just make sure not to stay too late on Sunday, the programme on Monday starts early!

Even though The Hague is a (relatively) big city, you will never be too far away from a relaxing bit of nature and some benches to relax. Perfect after a long day of studying or if you just played some football or basketball at one of the many sports cages in the neighbourhood! See you soon!

Next stop on our tour is the Haagse Markt (The Hague market). Groceries here are fresh, cheap and plentiful and the people are very nice. Just bring cash and a friend to help carry everything!
