"The exhibition of Liane Collot d'Herbois painting work"

This Autumn the painting therapy training course from the Emerald Foundation, foundation for the promotion of painting therapy on antroposophical principles according to the work of Liane Collot d'Herbois, celebrates her 25th anniversary.

For this occasion we invite you to an exhibition of her paintings in the area of the Hague.

We are very pleased to send you the information of the Foundation Course in Regular Medicine (FCRM), part 1
and the information of Module I from 22.04 – 17.05.2013 of the International Painting Therapy Training Course.

We are very pleased to inform you that Emerald will start a new series of painting therapy training courses from the 22nd of April 2013 onwards.
The training courses consist of 10 fulltime course modules of 4, 5 or 6 weeks each in a period of 5 years. All course weeks or course days can be attended seperately, also as post graduated training for therapists and doctors.
Accreditation: 1 week 27 points, 1 day 6 points.
It is possible prior to the first 3 training modules to follow at Emerald an official accredited basic medical course.

Es freut uns sehr Ihnen zu berichten das Emerald ab 22 April 2013 eine neue Maltherapie Ausbildungsserie organisiert. Die Kurse bestehen aus 10 fulltime Kursmodulen von jeweils 4, 5 oder 6 Wochen in eine Zeitraum von 5 Jahre.

Ninth and Tenth Therapeutic Picture Yellow-Green – Violet Course
16.04 – 25.05.2012
Week 1: 16.04 – 20.04

16.04 We do light and darkness with charcoal as a preparation for the following colour exercise.
17.04 – 20.04 Yellow-green in an atmosphere of raw umber. Violet, indigo and orange will all make an appearance.
- Veil painting

We will trace mankind’s development as a light colour and darkness experience in a journey through the cultural epochs. We will take the steps from green to turquoise to cobalt blue (Greece, Byzantium and the Middle Ages).
- Painting on moist paper and veil painting.
Teacher: Anna Robadey (Haarlem, the Netherlands).

We will try to discover the process of reversal in nature.
We will practice this by drawing with led-pencil and colouring pencils Teachers: Sophia Blijdenstein and Anita Lennaerts (The Netherlands)
Week 3 and 4 and week 5 and 6: 30.04 – 25.05

We shall practise building up a picture of a patient out of light colour and darkness. From this picture we will learn to develop a therapeutic path. We will explore the colours yellow-green from 30.04 – 11.05 and violet from 14.05 – 25.05 (in combination with other colours) in relation to the healthy human being and in relation to illness and the processes of healing in the human being.

Composition Course Information(1)

The Emerald Foundation offers a 5- year international training course in medical painting therapy.
The training comprises 3 stages and 12 ‘therapeutic pictures’ given in 10 full-time course modules.
In the 1st year there are 2 foundation modules of 4 weeks. The 2nd ? 5th year consist of 8 therapeutic
modules of 6 weeks.
The 3 stages in the painting therapy course are:
Stage 1 General basic work in light, colour and darkness
1st. year (an artistic schooling for the student)
Stage 2 General therapeutic work in light, colour and darkness
2nd. till 5th. year (a therapeutic schooling for the student)
Stage 3 Individual therapeutic work in light, colour and darkness
2nd. till 5th. year (schooling for the student to give therapeutic exercises to the patient)
