We have concluded March and it was not a joke ;-).
It was a month full of inspiration, connection, and new insights.

This month we had our 2 regular meetings, a workshop on story telling, few of our members competed at the division contest and we had a pizza-afternoon with our own Pizziolo. (Expect a separate post on this)

We could not be more proud of our members and their milestones. Disciplined salesman Sam .denhaag introduced himself to the club in his ice-breaker. 👌

Tamara stepped out of her comfort zone even more than usually and took on the role of Toastmaster of the day. 👏👏👏

Dennis introduced us to a new format of Table topics and showed us how to introduce more storytelling into it as Table topics master.

We have regular meetings every 1st and 3d Thursday of the month. It’s not too late to sign up for tomorrow’s meeting as a guest.

This Saturday the area contest speech took place at the McDermott International in the Hague.
Our club was represented by not one but two of our members. We could not be more proud of these two amazing speakers Niket and Sonia.

Big congratulations to Niket for winning 🥇first place in the Tall tales.

After a longer than expected winter break, on 21st of January we had a full house meeting to kick off the new year. Theme of the meeting, beautifully chosen by , was “from mistakes to momentum”. Because we all make mistakes, so we might as well embrace them and use them to our advantage.

We heard fantastic speeches by our props superstar Sonia and our invited guest and mentee’whisperer Edgar. We had a full immersion in improv by an extra long table topics part of the meeting led by . This way everyone got to participate. We had brave guests improvising on stage for the first time. A big pat on the shoulder to them!

We closed the meeting off with beautiful and constructive evalutions by and . Last but not least we received reports from our TAG (time-keeper, ah-counter, grammarian) team.

What an inspiring way to start this year!
