Dr. Mollynn brought stories to life with a captivating reading in Runyankore (Uganda) during the multilingual celebration of Picture Book of the Year: Little Monkey! 🐒📖

It was a joy to be part of such a beautiful storytelling experience at The Hague Library, on the 3rd Floor – Reading Square, where children and families explored the story across six different languages—celebrating culture, connection, and the magic of books. 🌍💫

We are excited to invite you to participate in Afrikadag 2025!
The Africa Cultural Promotion Center (ACPC) is collaborating with Women Engage for a Common Future (WECF) to ensure diverse and impactful participation in this year’s program, which takes place on November 15, 2025, in Amsterdam.
We are specifically calling on all especially youth under 25 years interested in dialogues that echo local solutions to global impact to join us for the WECF session. Check link for more details https://afrikadag.nl/programma/ .
The session will focus on: "Ecofeminist Realities: From local solutions to global impact." This session highlights African ecofeminist voices and solutions that shift the discourse from “dependency and aid to ownership, equity, and tangible community impact through movement-building, redistributing grants, and strengthening solidarity”.
Cost Coverage (Limited Spots)
ACPC, funded by the WECF, will cover your attendance:
• Afrikadag Entrance Ticket (including lunch).
• Public Transport Travel Costs within the Netherlands (based on receipts).
