I was in the house of Maymunah. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) accompanied by Khalid ibn al-Walid entered. Two roasted long-tailed lizards (dabb) placed on the sticks were brought to him. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) spat. Khalid said: I think that you abominate it, Messenger of Allah. He said: Yes. Then the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was brought milk, and he drank (it). The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) then said: When one of you eats food, he should say: O Allah, bless us in it, and give us food (or nourishment) better than it. When he is given milk to drink he should say:

اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِيهِ وَأَطْعِمْنَا خَيْرًا مِنْهُ
Allahumma barik lana fihi wa at`imna khairan minhu.

O Allah! bless us in it and give us more of it, for no food or drink satisfies like milk.
Abu Dawud said: This is the Musaddad’s version.

সূরা ইয়াসীন কোরআনের মধ্যে প্রথম দশটি মক্কায় উত্তরায়িত সূরা এবং ৩৬ নং সূরা। এটি মুসলিম সমাজে অত্যন্ত প্রিয় এবং গুরুত্বপূর্ণ একটি সূরা। এই সূরা কোরআনের মধ্যে একটি হৃদয় ছুঁয়ে যাওয়া সূরা হিসাবে পরিচিত। এই সূরা একটি স্বয়ংময় কথা, যা জীবনের সমস্যা এবং প্রশ্ন সমাধান করতে সাহায্য করে। এই সূরা উচ্চ মানসিক এবং আধ্যাত্মিক মানসিকতা প্রস্তুত করে।

সূরা ইয়াসীনে আল্লাহ তাআলা আমাদের জন্য অনেক রহমত এবং সুবিধা উপহার দিয়েছেন। এই সূরাতে আল্লাহ তাআলা মানব জীবনের সমস্যার সমাধান এবং অপরাধের মাফ করার বিষয়ে বক্তব্য করেন। এছাড়াও এই সূরা মানব জীবনের মূল উদ্দেশ্য এবং মর্যাদার বিষয়ে বিস্তারিত করে বক্তব্য করে।
