Mid-Year Money Mirror đź’›

24/05/2026

“I work hard, I do my best, I tried eveything, still money is never enough … why does it feel so heavy?”

Because life got more expensive. FAST.

What you could comfortably afford, save, or enjoy 2–3 years ago often feels very different today.

Most incomes did not grow at the same speed as: rent, groceries, energy, insurance, kids’ expenses, healthcare, daily life.

Your real inflation is not the official number on the news. It’s the increase YOU feel in your own life.

Go compare your current monthly expenses with the ones from 2–3 years ago.

That difference? That’s your real inflation.
And this is exactly why understanding your money is no longer optional.

Because:
❌ avoiding your numbers gets expensive
❌ passive money management gets expensive
❌ waiting “until things calm down” gets expensive

There will probably never be a perfect time.

That’s why inside Your Money, Your Terms we work on both:
âś” practical financial clarity
âś” and the human side of money

Not only: budgets, systems, income, spending, financial habits…
But also: stress, avoidance, decision-making, emotional resilience, and learning how to stay grounded financially even when life keeps changing around you.

Financial wellbeing is not about controlling the economy.
It’s about learning how to navigate your own life more intentionally inside it 💛

Today I answer this question - How is Your Money, Your Terms different compared to other money programs?

I bring in:
✅️ my almost 20 years of financial background working as a financial auditor, controller and manager

✅️ and also my education in counselling for self-development and transformational coaching

to work on both your practical side of money AND your human side of money.

That's how you create systems, habits and a healthy relationship with money that actually work in real life. In your life, on your own terms.

And now you also get the chance to see how I work, how I teach and if the program is good for you or for this stage in your life. I've opened FREE ACCESS to the first 3 video lessons in the program.

Check them out in BIO.

Who is Your Money, Your Terms for?

💼 Women professionals employed full/part-time who work hard, earn “decent money,” but still feel like they live from paycheck to paycheck, constantly trying to catch up financially.

✨ Freelancers who navigate irregular income, uncertainty, slower months, inconsistent cash flow, and the pressure of always needing to generate the next opportunity.

🚀 Entrepreneurs and business owners who are capable professionally, but still carry stress, avoidance, pressure, or emotional heaviness around their personal finances.

Different hats.
Different realities.
But very similar challenges & feelings underneath. They:
- overthink money,
- avoid looking at their numbers,
- feel responsible but still financially stressed,
- consume financial content but struggle to implement consistently,
- feel emotionally heavy around money,
- want more, but also feel guilty for wanting more,
- function professionally, but don’t feel calm financially,
- and are tired of carrying money stress silently in the background of their lives.

Inside YMYT, we don’t only work on budgeting or spreadsheets.
We work on:
âś” financial clarity
âś” emotional patterns around money
âś” practical systems
âś” confidence in decision-making
âś” healthier financial habits
âś” implementation in real life

And.... because I know that joining a program like this is a personal decision, I wanted to give you the chance to actually step inside YMYT before deciding/ đź’›

There is no perfect way to work on your money management or your relationship with money.

Some women need:
➡️structure,
➡️accountability,
➡️real-time support,
➡️and the energy of growing together.

Others need:
➡️flexibility,
➡️space,
➡️privacy,
➡️and the freedom to move at their own rhythm.

💛That’s exactly why I created 2 options for Your Money, Your Terms 👇

To be very honest, one of the things that surprised me most in the pilot edition was how strongly women valued the LIVE experience and the feeling of not doing this alone anymore.

When asked:
“On a scale of 1–10, how supported did you feel during the journey?”
(1 = not supported at all / 10 = fully supported)
đź’› 100% of the women rated the experience 10/10.

And when asked:
“Which elements of the program were the most helpful or meaningful to you?”
The most frequently mentioned were:
✨ LIVE calls
✨ Peer encouragement & community
✨ My support and guidance throughout the journey

The feeling that someone is there to help you move forward instead of judging where you are is actually priceless.

✨ LIVE cohort starts May 26th (early bird only until May 21st)
✨ SELF-PACED option already available

No matter which option you choose, this is your opportunity to finally stop feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or constantly behind with money and start creating a financial life that feels more aligned, intentional, and sustainable for YOU. đź’›

Here's why most financial strategies fail.

There's one simple reason for it:

They try to change your behavior without helping you understand the emotions, beliefs, stress patterns, and habits driving that behavior in the first place.

You can have the perfect budget, plan, or spreadsheet.

But if money still triggers guilt, avoidance, pressure, fear, impulsivity, or emotional exhaustion…

the strategy rarely sticks for long.

That’s why inside Your Money, Your Terms, we don’t only work on numbers.

We work on the relationship behind the numbers too đź’›

The next LIVE cohort starts on May 26th.

One of the amazing women inside the pilot edition of Your Money, Your Terms came into the program convinced there was “nothing left to improve financially.”

A few weeks later, she discovered plenty of invisible money leaks, outdated systems, and financial habits running on autopilot for years.

Many times the biggest financial shifts don’t come from earning more.

They come from finally seeing your money clearly again. đź’›

If this resonates, comment MONEY and I’ll share more details about the LIVE cohort starting on May 26th.

There was a time when the idea of “putting myself out there” terrified me.

Even after so many years in audit, finance, controlling, and leadership roles, networking was still probably the part I disliked the most.

And when I started transitioning toward coaching, counseling and mentoring … I honestly wondered what people would think.

“Sixteen years in auditing… and now coaching?”
“Will people think I lost my mind?”

I remember how uncomfortable it felt to suddenly say:
“This is me. This is what I do now.”

Especially after building a career that looked stable, respectable, and successful.

But something surprising happened.
People didn’t judge me the way I feared.
Instead, many reached out quietly and said:
“Actually… I need this. I need financial coaching.”
A healthier relationship with money.
More clarity.
Less stress.
More alignment.

I share this and much more from my own journey in Ana Denis’ book
📖 Reinvento: Expat’s Guide to Reinventing Your Career and Identity, where I recently had the honour of being featured.

🙋‍♀️ Hi, I’m Andreea - financial wellbeing coach & mentor and former finance professional with 17+ years in audit, controlling, consulting, and leadership roles.

🌿 Today, I help women move from money stress, overthinking, and financial guilt toward calmer, healthier, and more intentional financial lives in ways that actually fit their real lives.

15/05/2026

In my early 20s, all I wanted was to build a career where I could truly grow, thrive, and become really good at what I do.

I wanted to learn.
Work hard.
Challenge myself.
Earn my place professionally.

Entrepreneurship was honestly not even on my radar back then.

I believed I first needed to:
- build expertise,
- gain experience,
- handle pressure,
- grow through challenges,
- and become the kind of professional people could trust.

Looking back now… I’m grateful I did.

Because I could have never imagined that one day I would use all those years in finance, audit, consulting, leadership, and personal growth to empower women in an area that for so long felt intimidating, overwhelming, or even “too masculine” to fully belong in.

But somewhere along the way, I realised I didn’t only want to work with numbers.

I wanted to help women feel:
- more confident,
- more capable,
- more intentional,
- and more at peace with money and with themselves.

Today, guiding women to:
- explore their relationship with money,
- challenge inherited beliefs,
- build healthier habits,
- create structure & systems that work around their finances,
- and design a life that actually feels aligned with who they are…

feels deeply meaningful to me.

Maybe because I spent years trying to do life “the right way” too.

And maybe because I know how heavy money can quietly become behind ambition, responsibility, and success.

I’m curious:

What is one permission you feel like you still need to give yourself? đź’›
