The Rotterdam Summer School offers summer school activities on an academic level for students and professionals from all over the world. Rotterdam has several outstanding institutes of higher education. Over the years, they have developed several summer school activities. The profiling of these summer courses, however, no longer fits with the international ambitions of higher education in Rotterda

m. It is for that reason that the Erasmus University Rotterdam, in collaboration with the municipality of Rotterdam, has taken the initiative to set up the Rotterdam Summer School. The Rotterdam Summer School aims to unite and support existing and future summer school activities of institutes of higher education in Rotterdam. It offers a growing selection of high quality academic courses, both with and without ECTS credits for students (BA, MA and PhD level) and professionals. It is the ambition of the Rotterdam Summer School to offer all participants an unforgettable experience in Rotterdam, one of the top-10 city destinations in the world (Lonely Planet best travel 2016). We want our students to be challenged to discover and explore new knowledge and skills. But also to experience this vibrant and innovative city, full of possibilities and promises for the future.

Our first course has officially started and has already almost come to an end as well. Oh how time flies! We have been busy trying to make sure that everyone has an unforgettable time at Rotterdam Summer School and are happy to hear all the positive experiences so far. Dive into data this summer!
