Op 9 maart vindt het online career event AmbitionDay plaats.

Een interactieve online dag om je goed te oriënteren op de volgende stap in je carrière. Van 12:00 tot 17:00 zijn er lezingen en workshops te volgen, kan je in gesprek gaan met loopbaancoaches en vind je o.a. traineeships en startersfuncties bij topwerkgevers.

In 3 break-out rooms vertellen zes studenten en pas afgestudeerden over de master die zij hebben gevolgd en waarom zij tot deze keuze zijn gekomen. Hoe hebben zij de toelating aangepakt en wat heeft ze het opgeleverd?

'In celebration of international students this month, the Lighthouse Career Café welcomes inspiring alumni from the international Erasmian community to share their story. First, we will start with a workshop hosted by one former international student from Mexico who is now working in the Netherlands. We will touch upon tips and tricks landing your (first) job in the Netherlands. Afterwards, we will have a panel discussion where our host will linkup with alumni to talk about life after graduation, how they discovered their passion, what struggles they may have faced and explore what career paths they chose after their study.'

About the speakers:
Schmeets is an entrepreneur, econometrician, has experienced two depressions and found value therein. With her company Maskerclass, she helps both colleagues and students to become familiar with mental health topics.

@ Mae Zaal is founder and co-president of Let's Break the Shame, a mental health foundation helping people between the ages 18-30 who are struggling with their mental health. She is also an author and public speaker.

@ Alycia Colijn is a mental health activist and a diversity and inclusion advocate. She openly talks about her personal development journey on Instagram under the name ‘selfdevelopmentjunkie’.
