We need your support.

Since 2012, Stichting Open Scape (S.O.S.) have dedicated themselves to helping those in need in the broadest sense. Guiding them through difficult and challenging situations. From hurricane relief, housing – or legal and tax issues.

We offer support to all people in different areas and countries when they are in an emergency situation. Through all of these cases we have never requested any subsidies or grants, we don’t charge people in these situations because we believe help should come from the heart.

We have a strong belief in reciprocity and give without asking.
Our funding is obtained primarily within our network, financial gifts or donations. Our main purpose is to help, without any red tape, bureaucratic involvement and with no strings attached.
But now we find ourselves in a challenging situation equal to the challenges we help people with.

On the 10th of November 2022, we received a phone call that no one ever wants to receive. Our (podcast ) studio was broken into and several costly items were stolen and damaged. We have managed to help everyone all the while remaining in the background. With this tragedy we now are forced to appeal to our network and ask for your support, financial or otherwise. Therefore we choose not remain in the background anymore but face our challenge head-on.

S. O.S. uses a circular holistic economic system. With this system we customarily create a flow of funds from our internal paid services, which in return provides the needed financial support. Due to this aforementioned tragedy our system became unstable and can no longer provide the needed funds to give support nor operate optimally.

Our goal is to raise a minimum of € 30,000.

The funds will cover the stolen and damaged equipment, to secure the location to prevent such future incidents and contributing expenses, the upcoming rental fees and partial operational costs.

Here is a short introduction;
Hi there!

We are Gijs de Jonge, Maryse de Pruis, Bobette van Rijswijk and Marinca Uijland. Together we form ~CLEAR~, a student research & development team from the University of the Arts Utrecht (HKU) executing a research question submitted by Open Scape Foundation (OSF).

This research team can be therefor seen as an initiative between HKU and OSF to provide Sint Maarten/Saint Martin with an insight of its value within the Creative Industries. The Creative Industries is very broad and compasses multiple fields. By defining the Creative Industries of Sint Maarten/Saint Martin future collaborations with this Industry will be more accessible, which we believe will lead to economic growth, diversity, sustainability and stability.

~CLEAR~ would like to be part of assisting in creating an overview of the current creative fields on Sint Maarten/Saint Martin and explore the possibilities found.

During this research we will give you a weekly update (video's, interviews etc.) about our progress, experiences and findings.

We are happy to announce the departure of Fairtransport Cargo boat to the island of St. Maarten Monday oct.2, 2017

www.animalinneed.com -Irma Neijman (chairman) sent donated supplies to help assist the many animals on the island that are in shelters due to the destruction of hurricane .

Sxm Paws Foundation & Animal Defenders of Sint Maarten will be accepting the items to devide and distribute between the various welfare organizations and veterinarians.

Their will be a film crew NTR Caribbean network following the ship and apon arrival to the island, a film crew will be on the island to continue documenting the aid work being done

On behalf of these organizations and the island of St. Maarten, we at Stitching Open-Scape will like to thank Fairtransport's, the crew of Tres Hombres and Stichting Second Chance Foundation for partnering with us and sailing the needed Animal supplies to the island of St. Maarten
We look forward to working with them again to continue the mission of helping those in need.
