Armenian Students Association of The Netherlands - ASA Armenian Students Association (ASA) strives to cultivate an understanding and appreciation of Armeni

The Armenian Students Association of the Netherlands is a non-profit student association, which was founded in 2016. ASA strives to cultivate an understanding and appreciation of Armenian history and culture by Armenians and non-Armenians. We pursue this goal trough a variety of means- including inviting guest lectures, hosting discussion/debate panels, monthly meetings, different trips to Armenia

and social events such as group dinners and mixers. Our main purpose is threefold

• Provide a space for Armenian and non-Armenian students where they can come together and cultivate a spirit of appreciation towards Armenian culture, history, and heritage through social and educational events.

• Give an opportunity to establish a network with one another.

• Maintain contact with other Armenian groups and individuals in the community.

The Wings of Tatev is the longest (5.7 km) reversible aerial tramway in the world. During the ride you can enjoy the breathtaking view of the gigantic mountains, which serve as protecting guards of Armenia.

This entertaining ride will lead you to the final spot of your journey which is the stunning Tatev Monastery. It is a 9th century Armenian Apostolic monastery on the edge of a green rocky cliff.

The past couple of days were quite stressful for the Armenians all over the world.
As most of you probably know on the 1st of April the armed forces of Azerbaijan broke the ceasefire and opened fire along the contact line of Azerbaijan and Nagorno Karabakh. A lot of soldiers and peaceful citizens died as a result of this conflict. Fortunately, since yesterday the shootings have stopped and another ceasefire was signed between Azerbaijan and Nagorno Karabakh. Although it is not certain how long it will last as the history has shown that Azerbaijan not once did break agreed upon ceasefire.
