As for Zadkine 1st year students, they will go to an Harbour excursion for their Unit 35 Supply Chain Management. There they will experience how the logistics management works. Students will often visit companies to see and experience how it really works.

Where would you want to go in your third year? In our third year we can go on an intership to a country of our own choice. Where would you want to go?

The International Business Study course will allow you to deeper understand these concepts and provides you the entry point into international companies. This course is designed in such way which will help you develop business skills and to become a business person in this economy. “A business-like approach is of paramount importance.”

This course provides the opportunities to work with foreign people and work in foreign countries. Therefore the IBS course strongly require students to study a foreign language which could be chosen between German (on a B level), Spanish (on A level) and Chinese (on a B level). It also recommends the need to complete an overseas internship for better experience.

The study course will encourage students not only to be theoretically active but also practically, by for example asking them to conduct a campaign for a certain project that they are given; this will be done in groups. So as you can see this course is not only challenging, but it is also competitive, interesting, exciting and adventurous!

During the course of the first and the second year you will be working in a placement at an international company in the Netherlands for 10 weeks. For the third year you will be offered the opportunity to carry out your work placement abroad for a period of 12 weeks. The countries who provide internships are – England, Spain, France, Italy and other international countries.

This education is a three year course, where the students will study 60% of the subjects in English (The core Units of Business Studies & English language) and 40% in Dutch (NT2, Maths and Economy). They will receive a BTEC Diploma which is certified by the English examination organization in ‘Edexcel’. The students will be trained to be able to follow a HBO course after achieving this diploma.
