We are super excited to announce the *q***r ecology* event organized by ***rco and SusCo! 💚💜

This event delves into the mystical and exciting world of Q***r Ecology. Unknown to many, we will commence with streaming an introductory lecture from Canada about this concept by the academic and artist Sabine LeBel. Afterwards Lou Lou Sainsbury () will talk about her interdisciplinary art practice with specific focus on listening, sensuality and transing*. Additionally their work “my hole is the place where i call myself mother” will be screened, telling the story of a singing, flaming meteorite and an alien fungus that translates the voices of trees.
Lastly, designer Noam Youngrak Son ( )will guide a creative workshop of a speculative co-creation made out of edible flesh. The audience will explore notions of race, ecology, and q***rness in making an organism together.

Sustainability Co., , and have worked together to offer you a zine-making workshop and film screening of Donna Haraway: Storytelling for earthly survival. Together we will explore the artistic medium of zines as a creative, self-expression tool, while watching Fabrizio Terranova’s documentary on the transformative nature of storytelling and Haraway’s vision for a multispecies sociality, a way to “cultivate the arts of living on a damaged planet”.

For our last event of intersectional week, ***rco and will hoste a talk about q***r and trans liberation in context of the climate crisis.

We will hear about the reality of climate vulnerability for q***r and trans folks, and focus on what we can learn from their fight for liberation for the fight for climate justice.

We will talk to inspiring Alex Seré Cohen, a member of , a community-based climate action grassroots organization.
