Today is National Animal Rights Day.

A day on which attention is called worldwide to animal rights.

Animals are not products.
Not raw materials.
Not utensils.

They are living beings with intrinsic value, interests, and a life of their own.

That is why we remain committed to a society where animals matter too 🐾

According to a study by Dr. Joseph Poore, today, nearly half of the world's habitable land is used for agriculture, with about 80% of that used directly or indirectly for livestock (grazing and feed crops). 🌾⁠

If the global population adopted a fully plant-based diet, agricultural land use could shrink from 4 billion hectares to 1 billion hectares, a 75% reduction. This would free up roughly 3 billion hectares of land, an area equivalent to the combined size of North America and Brazil, allowing vast tracts of land to be rewilded to absorb carbon and restore biodiversity.⁠
