Last week, I had a deep realization during a team call where the guest speaker talked about negative thoughts. She said: "You are not your thoughts", which really resonated with me as this is something I often struggle with.

The speaker reminded us that negative thoughts are simply firing neurons, nothing more, nothing less. They do not define us, nor do they have the power to stop us. As someone who tends to get stuck in a negative spiral that feeds my fear of failure, this is a game-changer. Now, I have a powerful reminder to catch myself when I fall into negative thoughts. I am not my thoughts, and they cannot hold me back 💪

Happy Earth Day, everyone! 🌍

Today, we celebrate our planet and remind ourselves of the importance of taking care of it. From reducing our plastic usage and recycling to supporting sustainable practices and protecting our natural resources, we all can make a difference. Let's take a moment to appreciate the beauty and wonder of the Earth and the diversity of life it supports. We all have a responsibility to make sustainable choices that will help preserve the environment. Even small changes can already help a lot!

These are five ways I (small) things that I do to be more sustainable:
1. Reducing my plastic consumption by using reusable bags, water bottles, and containers.
2. Using reusable cotton pads for my beauty routine.
3. Washing my clothes with laundry sheets.
4. Using refillable shampoo bottles
5. Trying to isolate my home as best as I can and turning down the thermostat

So, let's commit to making sustainable choices and taking action towards a healthier and more sustainable future. Together, we can positively impact the planet and ensure a better world. 🌱💚

For the past year, I have been trying to be less wasteful. One way I found to produce less waste is by using these reusable cotton pads. Not only am I reducing waste by making the switch, but I'm also supporting ethical and eco-friendly practices. Plus, these pads are easy to wash and can be used over and over again. However, I am not stopping here. I am looking for other ways to be more mindful of our planet. If you have any tips for me, I would love to hear them! 🌍💚

Every day I am learning new things. For example, my coach gave me a tip: plan your content ahead of time. So, I have been trying to implement that!💪

In the last couple of weeks, I noticed that I was feeling anxious. I tried posting something multiple times a day. I was pressuring myself so much that I was shutting down😕 and not doing anything anymore. Taking selfies does not come naturally to me, so taking a moment to shoot some pics and planning when I was going to post it took some of the pressure off.

So I am planning ahead again. I feel way more confident and creative doing it this way. Most of all, I am experiencing less stress😁.

Not even 10 pages deep into this book, and this reminder comes along. Felt like a real wake-up call the first time I read it. I absolutely hate being vulnerable, but I understand it is a part of life I need to learn to embrace. So I'm taking this one in and continue improving myself.

I'm not big on new year's resolutions because when you want something, you should go and get it. But in the last couple of years, I decided to give the new year a theme. This way, I can focus on one thing instead of half-assing multiple things😅.

This year is gonna be about self-love, as I still have a lot to learn. So, I am starting by reading a book that a teacher recommended. I get to kill two birds with one stone, as I will learn stuff about myself and maybe change bad habits, and I get to use it for a school assignment💪
