and horns, our fascinating touch and feel walls are full of surprises to stimulate the senses and engage even the youngest minds. As soon as the sun comes out, so do we! We slide open all the doors to create a world of indoor and outdoor play and creative activity. Dining out in our picnic corner is a favourite for all our guests. Even more exciting is picking fresh cherry tomatoes, radish or salad for lunch from our rooftop garden with our very own fresh vegetable plots. We had a wonderful day at Avifauna. We saw a lot of animals, like capybaras, alpacas, monkeys, penguins, colorful birds, eagles, meerkats, turtles and penguins. And then we played in a really nice playground!! Children enjoyed it very much 💚 we also had lots of fun together in the school bus!!

Another busy week for True Colors Delft BSO! We put on plenty of sunscreen and spent time both under the warm sun as well as indoors to cool off. Loads of fun!🍓☀️

Summer holiday - week 3
The highlight of this week was definitely visiting De Speelfabriek in Rotterdam, where we got all crafty!🔨The rest of the week was filled with water fights and picnics under the trees to stay cool! 🧺🌳💦

Summer holiday at the bso, week 2
Another fun-filled week!😄 We got messy with some mud play, enjoyed more sunny days at the beach, and had lots of fun skateboarding and playing bubble football! 🛹⚽

Summer holiday, week 1
What a lovely week! We enjoyed the beautiful weather with lots of fun outdoor activities like playing at the playground, having a cozy picnic together and participating in the World Cup of Kinderopvang Morgen!☀️🧺🏆

This morning the babies enjoyed a lemon activity. The children painted the lemons with yellow painting with thin brushes, they added some green leaves, they smelled the fresh lemons and some brave ones, even tasted the lemon juice 🍋🍋🍋 and the room was smelling amazingly fresh!! 😍😍

This week was full of hands-on learning, creativity, and adventure! ✨

🍎 Making Applesauce
The children chopped apples using child-safe knives and helped make delicious applesauce. This activity strengthened their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and independence, while introducing them to cooking and healthy eating. 👩‍🍳🍏

🚋 Trip to De Boogaard
We took the tram to De Boogaard for an exciting outing! The children explored their community, practiced road safety, learned about public transportation, and developed their social and observation skills. 🏙️👀

🐠 Ocean Animal Stickers
The children colored their favorite ocean animals and turned them into their very own stickers! This creative activity encouraged self-expression, color recognition, and strengthened their fine motor skills. 🦀⭐🐚

🕶️ DIY Sunglasses Craft
We designed and decorated our own sunglasses, inspiring creativity, imagination, and giving the children the opportunity to express their unique ideas. 🌈☀️

💛 Every activity helps children learn through play while building confidence, curiosity, and new skills. We had so much fun together! 🌟😊

☀️🏖️ Summer fun is in full swing! 🌴🐚

This week we explored the beach through fun, hands-on activities! 💛

🐚 We created beautiful shell crafts using different materials.
🫧 We had lots of fun making and playing with bubbles, encouraging curiosity and sensory exploration.
🍌🥝🍊 We used fresh fruit to create colorful palm trees, learning that healthy food can be fun too!
🏰 We practised recognising and matching shapes by building and decorating sandcastles with circles, squares, triangles and more.

Through play, creativity and discovery, we’re learning new skills every day! ☀️💙🌊

De kinderen mochten verschillende kleuren melk toevoegen aan de olie. Op een speelse manier maakten de kinderen kennis met kleuren, het mengen van de kleuren en het verschil tussen olie en melk.
