Qualified waitlisted applicants may now confirm their intent to enroll through apps.evsu.edu.ph/admissions/confirmation_login or by scanning the QR code below. The confirmation period will run until June 15 at 5 p.m.

Failure to confirm within the prescribed period shall result in the forfeiture of the admission slot.

𝗗𝗼 𝗜𝘁 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗙𝗲𝗮𝗿’: 𝗕𝗦𝗢𝗔 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗧𝗼𝗽𝘀 𝗘𝗩𝗦𝗨-𝗧𝗖 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

Starting college with uncertainty, Joyce Ann Adonis did not imagine that the same doubts she once carried would later define her rise to the top. The journey of Joyce Ann Adonis, the leading luminary of the Eastern Visayas State University – Tanauan Campus (EVSU-TC) Class of 2026, is a testament to her refusal to break under pressure.

Adonis began her college life on unfamiliar ground. Coming from the Home Economics strand in Senior High School, she entered the Bachelor of Science in Office Administration (BSOA) program without the academic foundation that many of her peers already had. The sudden shift was incredibly jarring, leaving her struggling just to find her pace.

As a young child, Joyce was already familiar with scholastic success. Throughout her early schooling, being at the top was a steady norm. Yet college completely altered her internal landscape. Suddenly, the young woman who was once accustomed to thriving found herself wrestling with profound self-doubt and a sense of being lost.

“I started my college life with uncertainty, and I even doubted myself. Entering college made me question my capabilities,” Adonis shared. “I felt unprepared at times and was pressured to live up to the standards I had set for myself in the past.”

Behind her polished demeanor as an aspiring administrator lay a quiet, continuous struggle against the fear of falling short. Facing complex, specialized courses felt like staring at an insurmountable wall. For someone whose identity was deeply tied to academic excellence, the mere thought of a misstep became an overwhelming shadow.

Yet, instead of allowing these challenges to weigh her down, she chose to face them head-on. Adonis relied on discipline and consistency to move forward, making a conscious decision to persist and prove to herself that she was capable of overcoming what once intimidated her.

Even so, her fiercest opponent was not the rigorous curriculum—it was her inner critic, constantly whispering doubts about her abilities.

But through exhaustion, migraines over textbooks, and moments when the path ahead seemed entirely dark, she anchored herself to a singular golden rule of survival:

“If you are afraid of doing something, then still do it with fear so that you won’t have any regrets in the future.”

Adonis’s journey shows how doubt, when confronted with courage and persistence, can lead to distinction. From a student who once questioned her place in college, she now stands at the top of her batch, proving that success is not reserved for those who begin with confidence, but for those who choose to keep going despite uncertainty.

“Keep on believing in yourselves, trust in your capabilities, and give your best in everything that you do. Because no one ever knows what you can do unless you try,” she said.

From a hesitant freshman slipping quietly into an unfamiliar lecture hall to standing at the absolute pinnacle of her graduating class, her journey is the result of risking it all despite the anxiety that once held her back. She proves that when you choose to persevere despite your fears, your potential becomes truly boundless.

All scholars are strongly advised to maintain an active balance in their Landbank Deposit Plus Savings Account (Piso Plus Account).

Please be informed that accounts with zero balance for ninety (90) consecutive days will be automatically closed and can no longer be reopened. Once the account is closed, scholars will be required to create a new Landbank account either through the nearest Landbank branch or Landbank Mobile App.

To avoid inconvenience and possible delays in the processing and release of your financial assistance, we strongly urge all scholars to deposit and maintain at least ₱1.00 in their Landbank account as soon as possible. For better assurance, keeping a higher balance is also encouraged.

Important reminders:

• Do not leave your account with a zero balance.

• Regularly check your account status and balance.

• Avoid withdrawing your remaining balance completely.

• If your account has already been closed, immediately inform our Scholarship Coordinator and coordinate with the nearest Landbank branch and process the opening of a new account.

Please take immediate action, especially as the release of financial assistance is expected within June–July. Maintaining an active account will help avoid delays in the crediting of your scholarship benefits.
