Summer has arrived at our headquarters in Nuenen, the Netherlands ☀️, and we're grateful to know a thing or two about vehicle air conditioning systems... because they are surely working overtime at the moment! 🔥

We're also thankful to all the teachers, students, partners, and colleagues who helped make this another great semester.

Wherever you are in the world, and whatever weather you're enjoying (or enduring!), we hope you are looking forward to some well-deserved time to recharge.

Whether you are planning to rest, hit the road, or enjoy some leisurely learning, we wish you a wonderful holiday! 😎

(🇵🇹 Português abaixo) Last week, Electude had the privilege of participating in the Technical Innovation Days on Automotive Mechatronics, Digitalisation and Sustainability organised by IEFP - Instituto do Emprego e Formação Profissional, I.P. in Porto, Portugal.

Raymond van Buuren, Electude’s Director for Iberia, LATAM and Asia, shared our global experience in developing teaching resources that motivate learners, empower technical teachers, and improve learning outcomes.

During a panel discussion with Carlos Fonseca (IEFP), João Carlos Costa (ATEC - Academia de Formação), and Filipe Chaves (Escola Técnica Superior Profissional), a common perspective emerged. Portugal faces the same challenges seen internationally:
• Rapid technological evolution
• The digitalisation of education
• The electrification of mobility
• A growing difficulty in attracting young talent to the automotive sector

During the event, Electude’s Iberia team, José Luque and Javier López, together with our local representatives from Atlântico CG, Tiago Neto Leite and João de Almeida, presented the pedagogical foundations of our learning solutions and showcased the latest generation of our courseware and hardware.

Thank you to IEFP for organising this valuable event and to everyone who contributed to the inspiring discussions.

Students today learn differently. They expect interactive experiences, instant feedback, and learning that connects directly to real-world application.

CQUniversity Australia recently piloted Electude with Heavy Vehicle apprentices to explore a new approach to theory delivery.

The results were immediate:

✅ 100% reported higher engagement
✅ 100% found the platform easy to use
✅ 100% felt more confident in their understanding
✅ 90% preferred it over traditional workbook-based learning

By combining simulation-based learning with hands-on practical workshop tasks, CQUniversity created a more engaging learning experience while helping students better connect theory to practice.

It's a simple reminder that modern students deserve modern learning tools.

Curious how CQUniversity approached the pilot and what teachers observed along the way?

Last week, Electude had the pleasure of participating in the Nordic Future Skills Day at TEC - Technical Education Copenhagen, where automotive educators and industry stakeholders from Denmark, Sweden, and Finland came together to exchange ideas. 💡

The day provided valuable insights into how TEC successfully integrates digital learning, practical training, and innovative teaching methods through Electude and the e-værket concept.

From campus tours and inspiring discussions to demonstrations of modern teaching environments and 3D learning models, it was clear that collaboration is key to preparing the next generation of automotive technicians.

A special thank you to the TEC team for sharing their experiences, best practices, and vision for the future of vocational education.

It was inspiring to see schools from across the Nordic region connect around a shared goal: strengthening automotive education and supporting the transition toward new vehicle technologies and more sustainable mobility.

At Electude, we believe that learning is most powerful when educators collaborate, share experiences, and inspire each other.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to a highly valuable and inspiring day. We look forward to continuing the journey together.

[Version française ci-dessous 🇫🇷] Last Saturday, 30 May, Electude joined 3H du GARAC, a special exhibition celebrating classic cars, youngtimers, and exceptional pre-2000 vehicles. 🚗

Our founder and CEO, Koen Berends, attended with one of his classic Citroën DS cars, joining more than 300 remarkable vehicles on display at Garac - Ecole Nationale des Professions de l'Automobile, France’s national school for automotive and mobility professions

Koen was joined by fellow Electudians Dimitri Ogg and Laurent Tissot and connected with members of the GARAC team.

Together, they also had the pleasure of meeting “President De Gaulle”: a lookalike of the French general and president who arrived at De Gaulle's original iconic vehicle, a DS 21.

Electude is grateful to GARAC for the warm welcome and for organising this incredible event, which brings vehicle enthusiasts together while drawing attention to the automotive profession.

We are proud of our enduring partnership with GARAC and of our shared commitment to making automotive education engaging, hands-on, and future-ready in France.

🇫🇷
