🎨 Serving as the central creative hub of the association, design, capture, and share what makes UNSA special, and create fresh, exciting content for our social media.

🫂 Joining the team is a perfect opportunity to develop or practice practical skills, whether it’s graphic design, photography, or video editing! At the same time, you become a part of the UNSA Community, and help it reach more students, and spreading its values.

No experience is required, we’ll help you learn!

The Marketing & Communications Committee is the creative hub of UNSA Maastricht. We design, capture, and share what makes UNSA special. We promote all the events, trips, and projects to the Maastricht student community and our members! 🩷

Joining our team is a great opportunity to develop new skills, whether it’s learning graphic design, exploring photography, or diving into video editing 💻📹

Become a journalist for the Maastricht Diplomat to turn your curiosity into stories! ✍️♥️

The Maastricht Diplomat is the journal committee of UNSA and a student-led publication that reports on a wide range of topics. We blab about global, local politics, student life, law, art, science, culture and everything in between!

📰 We use various forms of media, juggling between writing, podcast, interviews, video, livestream, photography and more. Whether you want to formulate your thoughts in words, speak in front of a camera or introduce new forms of content, there is a place for everyone.

Applications are open to both experienced and non-experienced applicants.
It is also possible to apply for one semester (e.g. if you are/will go on exchange), although only a limited number of spaces are available.

‼️In your application:
State which team/department you want to become part of
If you want to become a writer, please attach a writing sample. Academic pieces are not accepted. Preferably, submit an unpublished piece so that it could become your first published work!

If you want to become part of the audiovisual team, please attach a piece of your work. This can be a short podcast, an edited video on a topic you like or a video report on something you find interesting, or any other relevant work!

As an active member of the ER committee, you have the chance to organize and join study trips within the Netherlands and around Europe. You will visit numerous UN offices and international organizations, gaining exposure to real-world working environments, connecting with professionals here and learning more about their daily work.

Furthermore, you will have a chance to establish partnerships with the coffee shops, restaurants, institutions, and more, while maintaining our existing collaboration with local and international partners.

Through these experiences, you will be able to expand your networks, connect with like-minded people and strengthen valuable skills, such as organizational, communication and negotiation skills.

Want to organise one of the most prestigious MUN Conferences in Europe? If so, apply now to the European Model United Nations team!

We have 5 separate teams which you can apply to to work with like-minded people and organize the best possible experience for the delegates of the EuroMUN conference in May 2026:
- Academics
- Logistics and Staff & Socials
- Marketing
- Registrations and Communications
- Finance

You have probably heard about EuroMUN if you’re a seasoned and conference-hardened MUNer.

However, if you’re new to the marvelous world of Model UN, here is a description in a nutshell:

❓Model United Nations is a conference in which students typically role-play delegates of the United Nations or other regional as well as trans-regional institutions and simulate their work. They are given a country’s viewpoint and need to defend it during the debate, following their respective institutions’ rules of procedure.

Although MUN experience is recommended for the committees (especially Academics), it is not indispensable for your application! Furthermore, you may also apply to more than one committee as long as you’re interested in them 👀

Become a member of the Development Committee UNSA Committee!

The Development Committee addresses humanitarian and developmental issues through building raising-awareness campaigns, offering and participating in volunteering opportunities, and organising fundraising events with our local and international partner NGOs. As an active development member, you would engage in those opportunities and can implement your own ideas and projects through this framework!

In our weekly meetings we critically discuss topics such as voluntourism, white saviourism, intercultural understanding, the Sustainable Development Goals and much more. Our aim is to implement those discussions in our projects and events!
We are looking for motivated and easy-going students who want to deepen their understanding of development and join a team in which everyone collaborates and each opinion is valued and supported!
