Here you can contact us and give us your suggestions and advice about our Conservatorium!

Dear students, we (Naïs, Pieter-Jan, Nora, Edoardo, Adèle, Isabel, Carlos and Elisavet) are members of the student council for the Classical Department of the Conservatorium Maastricht. Our job is bringing up new ideas to make studying at our school even better. To make that possible please feel free to tell us your opinions on things, that are not going too well, no matter in which year of studies you are! If you have problems with a theory teacher, other students, your main subject professor or even personal things you can come to one of the student council members and we will try to help you with solving the problem. Of course you are also always welcome to give us new ideas of things, that you would like to see/have in our school. We will definitely take all ideas into account when we have our meetings with the head of the classical department, management etc.!! :)

Here is the program for Wednesday's OPEN STAGE CONCERT at 18h30-20h00!

We hope to see you all there!

Now FYI, before the open stage concert, It's Eva Grinsven's Class Concert and later at 20h00 It's Tom Owen's Class concert.
All three events will be hosted in WHH, so feel free to join in any of those with plenty of great works and performances!

Last, this Open stage concert is the last one for 2023 and the next one is in February! Applications for that will start at the end of January!

We are very happy that so many people wanted to participate this month and finally we will have a full concert with amazing works and performances!

Everyone is welcome to come and listen!

Last, just a reminder for the next open stage, there are not so many spots left , so please hurry up and apply till beginning of December!

Dear all,

I would like to inform you that the Openstage Concert on the 4th of October, wednesday, is cancelled because we didnt recieve enough applications to fill the program!

The next Open stage is on the 15th of November, Wednesday, at 19h00!

Applications start already from next week, 9th of October, so if you would like to apply send an email with all details needed to [email protected] .

Last, please have in mind that if you want to have a performance with light changes or any other equipement that belongs to you, you need to have an external person that will be in charge of that.
Last, if this is your case it would help us a lot if you could send an email as early as possible so we can prepare better the schedule and make a plan with you concerning the setting before the concert!

We hope next month we have a wonderful concert with a lot of people performing and listening!

We hope you are having a lovely new academic year! 🥰

I would like to inform everyone that from october on the "Open stage concerts" start, and with this a new year full of music and great performances for students and colleagues!

➡️The first Open stage concert is next week, on the 4th of october, Wednesday at 19:00h❗️ If you want to apply, please do so untill sunday, 01/10/23, by sending an email to [email protected] with all the details needed (your name/ensemble name, repertoire, time needed, equipment needed (eg. number of stands)!

Now for the new students i would like to introduce whats the idea behing the Open Stage Concerts and

The Open Stage Concerts are a great opportunity for the classical students to get some on-stage experience in the main hall of Conservatorium Maastricht. Arranged each month by students, for students, we hope you use this opportunity to shake off those nerves and have a great time playing for friends and colleagues.

We hope to see you there, either performing or listening to some great music!!

Musicians have 15-20 minutes of performance time each.
If you would like to participate as a soloist or as an ensemble, please send an email to [email protected], giving your name/ensemble name, repertoire, time needed, equipment needed (eg. number of stands) .

Unfortunately the open stage concert is cancelled on the 5th of April, since there are not many applications due to the Easter holiday.

I would also like to remind you that next month's concert is the last one due to exam period, so if you d like to perform next month you can already send me your repertoire!
