Missie van het CIM is het bevorderen van lokale bekendheid met de Chinese taal en (zaken-) cultuur. We doen dit door het geven van cursussen en het afnemen van examens in de Chinese taal en cultuur.

Meet Ruoyi Pu (濮若依), one of our Chinese language teachers in Maastricht.

With more than 10 years of international teaching experience across New Zealand, Italy, and China, Ruoyi helps students build confidence in Chinese through engaging and supportive lessons.

From YCT and HSK preparation to private tuition, every class combines language learning with insights into Chinese culture and daily life.

Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to refresh your skills, her interactive teaching style makes learning both effective and enjoyable.

Beyond grammar and vocabulary, Ruoyi shares insights into Chinese traditions, daily life, and modern China, helping students develop a deeper understanding of contemporary Chinese culture.

What does 美 (měi — beauty) mean to you?

Beauty can be found in many different places: in a breathtaking view, a shared meal, a meaningful conversation, or a small moment that stays with you long after it has passed.

During their time in China, our Summer Camp students were invited to capture their own interpretation of 美 through the lens of their camera.

The results are as diverse as the students themselves. From vibrant cityscapes and to unexpected moments of connection and discovery, each photo tells a unique story.
