This open panel, convened by Dr. Polina Zavershinskaia and chaired by Dr. Matteo Bassoli, invites contributions exploring the evolving field of memory policies and its intersections with public policy and memory studies.
Contributions may address:

β’ Policy entrepreneurs and memory policies
β’ Multilevel governance
β’ Memory policies in democratic and authoritarian contexts
β’ Comparative perspectives across regions
β’ The impact of conflict on memory policy-making
The panel particularly welcomes early-career researchers and PhD students, as well as comparative and interdisciplinary approaches that expand research beyond Eurocentric and post-World War II European case studies.
