We are pleased to invite you to the inaugural lecture of this academic year’s Ambassador Lecture Series:

Bangladesh: Use of International Law in Diplomacy

The lecture will be delivered by H.E. Mr Faiyaz Murshid Kazi, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh to the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

The discussion will explore how Bangladesh has relied on international law as an instrument of diplomacy, from maritime delimitation disputes to advisory proceedings before the International Court of Justice (ICJ) and engagement with the International Criminal Court (ICC).

For fifteen editions, law students from across Europe have argued cases under the European Convention on Human Rights before leading experts in the field. Now, it’s your turn.

Compete with peers from across Europe and plead before the European Court of Human Rights.

The winning team is awarded a study visit at the European Court of Human Rights.
