Maastricht University (UM) held its 6th place for the second consecutive year in the top ten world university ranking by the Times Higher Education 100 Under 50. UM was also ranked among the world’s best universities last year after placing 98th in the 2013–2014 Times Higher Education World University Ranking.

Finally we then attended the IECHE fair in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This was a big fair with lots of students and universities represented from all over the world. Maastricht University was present at the HAEC booth alongside the Universities of Twente, Wageningen and Groningen. We enjoyed the culture and kind-nature of the Saudi Arabian people. The fair was a big success due in part to the help from the Dutch embassy in Riyadh and the good work by the Ministry of Higher Education in Saudi Arabia. Kuwait EDUPLUS fair. Maastricht University was represented with the Maastricht School of Management along with NCHER. The Dutch Embassy in Kuwait helped to make this very Dutch-looking stand. We got to enjoy the beauty of the old and the new in Kuwait. A truly amazing place.

Dubai GETEX fair! In the amazing Dubai World Trade Center Area. It was a wonderful experience meeting all of the prospective students from Dubai.
