Vandaag is de campagne ‘Daar doen we het voor’ gestart. Wij willen in samenwerking met de gemeente, de universiteit en de hogeschool dat studenten bewust worden van het coronavirus. Daarom willen wij met deze campagne alle studenten oproepen de anderhalve meter afstand te waarborgen, maximaal 3 gasten thuis te ontvangen en in je kamer (of in huis) te blijven bij klachten. We moeten samen alles doen om ervoor te zorgen dat wij in de toekomst ‘de mooiste tijd van ons leven’ weer kunnen voortzetten.

Shout-out to our lovely caring colleagues Shanghai Jiao Tong University Antai College of Economics and Management

Last week, the IRO at SBE received a shipment of 250 neatly wrapped face masks as token of the longstanding collaboration and friendship between SBE and the Antai College of Economics and Management, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. They contacted us a while ago to enquire whether we could find a use for these. In their own words “The virus does not know borders or countries, but rapidly strikes the place where it arrives. In the face of adversity, we need to be united as one and show more courage and patience. As communities throughout the world continue to fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, we stand in solidarity with all our partners throughout the world. Though the world after the pandemic will not be the same as before, our friendship will remain the same – or even become closer after we overcome all these challenges together. And we are very much looking forward to our further cooperation.”, which we thinks are beautiful words indeed. We are extremely thankful for the masks and humbled by the sentiment behind them. Antai can rest assured the masks will be put to good use!
