Directieklas Conservatorium Maastricht presenteert Dances Zondag 4 februari presenteert de directieklas HaFaBra van het Conservatorium Maastricht zich met een gevarieerd concertprogramma.

Vanavond om 20u mag ik voor de eerste keer sinds mijn aanstelling vorig jaar als hoofdvakdocent hafabra-directie in Maastricht het conservatorium harmonieorkest dirigeren.

Wat een eer om met deze fantastische musici te werken! Er zijn nog kaarten verkrijgbaar!

On October 12th, at the Theater aan het Vrijthof, the annual concert of the Symphonic Wind Band from Conservatorium Maastricht will take place, featuring the talented Margherita Succio as the soloist in "Casanova", a cello concerto by Johan de Meij 🎻

ABOUT MARGHERITA SUCCIO

Born in Genoa in 2001, in 2020 Margherita graduated at the Conservatory of Alessandria with a Bachelor's Degree in Cello in the class of Claudio Merlo, with a final grade of 110/110 cm laude and special mention.
A crucial step in her artistic education is her encounter at the age of 14 with her teacher and mentor Antonio Meneses, with whom she has been studying and perfecting her skills for seven years, attending several masterclasses, the Walter Stauffer Academy, from 2017 to 2021, the Accademia Chigiana in Siena and the HKB.
In 2020, she is admitted in his class at the Hochschule der Künste Bern, HKB, where she obtained the Master of Art in Music Performance Classical, with the grade Excellent and the mention "with distinction" for having achieved in two academic years 173 CFA, out of 120 required for the Diploma, and a Minor in Chamber Music with Patrick Jüdt.
In 2023 she is admitted to Conservatorium Maastricht in the class of Gabriel Schwabe where she will start her second Master of Music studies, which are supported by the De Sono Associazione per la Musica.

Last Tuesday we had our rehearsal with the Wind Band of the Conservatorium Maastricht in Opera Zuid. Remember that the concert is next Sunday, February 12 in Kerkrade! 🎵

The Wind Ensemble of the Conservatorium Maastricht will play next Monday, November 28 at 20:30 in the Willem Hijstek Hall (Bonnefantenstraat, 15).

This project is led by our maestro Jos Zegers and will be conducted by our student Borja Romero González.
