Where’d all the time go? 🥹 From day one to closing ceremony, this cohort gave me memories I’ll carry forever. Grateful for every face in this collage and here’s to the friendships that started in a classroom and turned into something so much more 💛

Last months in the MPP that tasted like coffee and felt like golden hour. Birthday cake in the park, kingsday on a blanket in the sun, thesis chapters written and rewritten, and all the people who made this year what it was woven through every moment ❤️🌷 With the closing ceremony looming in the corner (12 days away now 😱) I’m trying to hold onto all of it before it becomes a memory…

Hear from five MPP students 🌍
We reflected on “Rethinking Multilateralism from Within” and wrote reflections from questioning what “development” actually means, to learning to distrust a badly run regression, and thinking about how to bridge the gap between the global and the local. Here are a few quotes from our reflections 💬
Could the MPP be for you too? Read the full blog and find out 🔗
Applications are still open for EU/EEA students!
📩 Deadline: 1 June

Dutch food doesn’t exist they said… 🇳🇱👀
Now that many of you prospective students are getting excited about your future home, thought I’d take you on a Maastricht food tour!
🍟 Patje Oorlog: fries topped with peanut sauce, mayo and raw onions. Sounds chaotic, tastes illegal. You will become addicted within your first week guaranteed.
🍩 Oliebollen: deep fried dough balls covered in powdered sugar. Technically a winter treat but once you try one you’ll be demanding them in July.
🫕 Limburgs Zuurvlees (or Zoervleis in dialect): a slow-cooked sweet and sour beef stew that tastes like it’s been simmering since the Middle Ages. In the best way possible.
🥧 Vlaai: a Limburg fruit/rice/pudding pie so good it should be illegal to only eat one slice. Consider this your formal warning.
Still think Dutch food doesn’t exist? See you soon 👋
