Fact Friday 🎨

Did you know that there's a special math pattern that shows up in nature a lot? It's called the Fibonacci sequence! This pattern helps make things look really cool, like the shape of a seashell or the way leaves grow on a stem. Artists and designers use the Fibonacci sequence to create pretty art too! It's neat how math and nature can work together to make beautiful things. 🌸

Did you know that the first computer programmer was a woman named Ada Lovelace? She lived a long time ago in the 1800s and worked with a man named Charles Babbage on a machine called the Analytical Engine. Ada came up with a way to make the machine do math problems using a special set of instructions, making her the world's first computer programmer! 💻

A cold wind blows around the galactIQ Academy creating an atmosphere of mystery... and suddenly, the howl of a wolf comes from inside the building! 🐺🍂

A fun game of 'Werewolf Mystery' is taking place on the morning of Halloween! 🎃
18 young programmers between the ages of 7 and 13 try to find the werewolf who is committing horrible coding crimes. 4 hours of robotic suspense where they can only discover the werewolf among us by programming their micro:bit board to complete the mission. 🧑‍💻🤖

If you love robotics and programming, be sure to attend 'The Werewolf Mystery workshop' at our programming school in Maastricht on the 30th of October! 🐺🎃

The 22/23 school season at galactIQ Academy is going to be amazing! 🤩

Our beginner level students will walk through the galactIQ structural curriculum. They will design video games, build and program robots or they will learn to write and read the basic programming languages (HTML, CSS, Javascript). Finally we will educate them in something very important in their lives: to understand the digital world that surrounds them and we will give them tools to be safe and behave correctly in the online environment. ⭐🪐
