Dusane is the annual Dutch Symposium of the Ancient Near East.

This year it will take place at Leiden University in the Van Steenis building, on the 6th of April 2018. Tomorrow is the day! The 13th edition of DUSANE will start at 12.00 tomorrow. We will have 6 interesting presentations and a break with activities from Things That Talk and Past-at-Play. Afterwards there will be drinks. We hope to see you tomorrow in the main hall of Van Steenis!!

The organization committee of DUSANE 2022 is pleased to announce an open call for abstracts for this year’s symposium.

DUSANE is the Dutch Symposium of the Ancient Near East and is organised by a collaboration of students who are part of Nabu Na’id, subgroup of the study association for Archaeology L.A.S. Terra and Pleyte, the study association for Oude Nabije Oosten Studies.
It will be held on the 14th of April, at the main hall of the Faculty of Archaeology in Leiden University.

BA, (R)MA and PhD students whose research focuses on the Near East are welcome to send a poster to [email protected] by the 1st of March.
