Elk jaar worden in september studenten door medestudenten verkozen om ze te vertegenwoordigen in de BOC. Als studentlid houdt je je bezig met het voortdurend bijschaven en aanpassen van het onderwijsprogramma. Dit heeft betrekking op de overlap tussen cursussen, de aansluiting van cursussen op elkaar, de regelingen van tentamens en examens etc. Ook breng je advies uit aan het opleidingsbestuur.

Each year in September, students are elected by fellow students to represent them on the BOC. As a student member, you are involved in continually updating and adjusting the curriculum. This relates to the overlap between courses, the connection of courses to each other, the arrangements of examinations and exams, etc. You also give advice to the program board.

✨ BOC Opportunity ✨

Are you a first-year IBP student looking for an opportunity to enhance the learning experience for you and your peers? By joining the Bachelor Opleidingscommissie you will have the freedom to express your ideas and deliberate with other driven psychology students and teachers to enact positive change. You will operate as a representative for all IBP first-year students who have suggestions or concerns about their academic development at Leiden University, in which you will be provided the space to share directly with the education board.

Requirements:
To have a drive for the improvement of our learning (and teaching) environment, to attend two monthly meetings (on Tuesdays from 11-1), and to have a basic understanding of Dutch (the teachers and dutch students will share in Dutch, IBP students may share in English).

Hallo lieve medestudenten!

Hopelijk gaat alles goed met jullie en jullie studievoortgang! We hebben al een tijdje niks van ons laten horen en daarom even een kleine update vanuit ons.

We vergaderen nog steeds elke maand online en hebben voor de algemene vergadering een voorvergadering met alle studentleden. We hebben dit jaar nog twee vergaderingen en daarna is het zomervakantie. Wij kijken er alvast naar uit en jullie hopelijk ook!

Ondertussen zijn er gelukkig weer wat versoepelingen van de coronamaatregelen geweest en zijn er ook weer meer mogelijkheden om naar het FSW te komen. Zo kan je inschrijven voor hoorcolleges en social study groups! Je kan je voor een ochtend of middag inschrijven om samen met vrienden (op 1.5meter) op de faculteit te studeren. Hello dear fellow students!

Hopefully everything is going well with you and your study progress! You haven't heard from us in a while, so here's a little update from our side.

We still have monthly meetings online and have a pre-meeting with all student members before the general meeting. We have two more meetings this year and then it's summer vacation. We are already looking forward to it and hopefully you are too!

Meanwhile, fortunately there have been some facilitation in the covid rules and there are more opportunities to come to FSW. You can register for lectures and social study groups! Wij hopen dat alles goed gaat met jullie, en dat jullie zin hebben in het komende jaar!

Natuurlijk is het dit jaar anders dan andere jaren, en zal het onderwijs online worden gegeven. Juist omdat dit nieuw is voor iedereen, is het belangrijk dat eventuele problemen meteen doorgegeven worden zodat het onderwijs er niet op achter uit gaat!
