The Meeting Point is a meeting place created by Leiden University
for students, especially newcomers, including refugee students and students with a migration background. It is place where they can meet each other and exchange experiences, whilst receiving guidance and advice. All university students and staff, both Dutch and international, are also welcome at the Meeting Point. We cooperate with

the Foundation for Refugee Students (UAF) to support and counsel highly skilled refugees in the Netherlands. As a newcomer you can drop by to ask questions and get advice about making a success of your studies. It's a place where you can meet other students with refugee background, as well as buddies, staff and students of Leiden University. All university students and staff, both Dutch and international, are welcome at the Meeting Point.

❄️ Workshop & Winter Dinner: Goals and Dreams ❄️

Are you ready for the new year? Meeting Point would like to invite you to join us for the workshop 'What do you really want?', an interactive gathering where we will explore what your important and achievable goals are for 2026 and what (small) steps you can take to achieve these goals. Afterwards, we will enjoy delicious food and socialize. Everyone is welcome! Simply register using the registration form.

Please note: This is a potluck dinner. This means everyone brings something to eat. Whether it's a delicious soup or a tasty dessert, it's entirely up to you! Let us know in advance what you'd like to bring.
