We are pleased to announce two Open Access editions of works by Stefan Javors’kyj (1658–1722), a key figure in early modern Ukrainian literature:

📖 "Panegyrics (1684–1691)", edited by Jakub Niedźwiedź and Bartosz B. Awianowicz, presents four Polish and Latin panegyrics dedicated to major Ukrainian political and ecclesiastical figures.

📖 "Sermons (1691–1698)", edited by Giovanna Brogi, Maksym Yaremenko, Tetiana Kuzyk, Marzanna Kuczyńska, and Jakub Niedźwiedź, offers 15 sermons transcribed from long-unpublished manuscripts, annotated in English, and made accessible to a broader scholarly audience.

Once described as the central figure in the 𝘯𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘢 𝘥𝘦𝘭 𝘈𝘳𝘵𝘦, José Cabrero y Mons (1871–1954) remains the only unidentified face in Solana’s famous painting 𝘓𝘢 𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘵𝘶𝘭𝘪𝘢 𝘥𝘦𝘭 𝘤𝘢𝘧é 𝘥𝘦 𝘗𝘰𝘮𝘣𝘰.

This richly illustrated monograph uncovers unpublished letters, rare books, and artworks from his collection—including pieces by Rodin, Solana, and Puvis de Chavannes.
