Here is an overview of the events during May 2026, including the sign-up links!

Murder dinner, Wednesday, May 6th, 18:00 at Ekklesia, Leiden. For all those who would like to attend the murder dinner, instructions will be sent beforehand!

Vegan Pizza Bar, Tuesday, May 12th, 18:00 in The Hague.
A decent discount included!

Arts & Crafts, Wednesday, May 20th, 19:00 at Ekklesia, Leiden.
Make your own polymer clay figure, design a mug or a plate, or bring your own crafts.

Yoga and drinks, Sunday, May 31st, 10:30 at Plantsoenpark, Leiden.
If you’d like to bring a small yoga mat, then sure, bring one!

Hi everyone,

Would you like to help keep this amazing community going? Are you enthusiastic, full of ideas and do you like to organise activities? Then we are looking for you 😌😌

For the 2026-2027 board of VSA Leiden, we are looking for the following positions:

- chair
- treasurer
- secretary
- activity committee

Feel free to text/email the current board if you would like to apply for a position or if you have any questions!

You will not be on your own, as we will give you the proper guidance to thrive as new board members 😊💚

🌸 April overview🌸

Easter walk & drinks
On Friday 3rd of April at 14:00, we will be going on a walk at Park Cronesteyn to enjoy the nice weather and spring flowers 🥰 For those who are interested, we will end the walk with drinks at de Tuin van de smid, a restaurant that also has nice vegan snacks 💚

Brainstorm session
Ever thought about doing more to promote veganisme, ethics and sustainability but not sure how to tackle this on your own? Or do you already have amazing ideas that you want share? Then join our brainstorm session Thursday 9th of April (from 19:30) to see which ideas we can bring to life ✨️

Vegan cheese workshop
On Monday 13th of April, we will be making vegan cheese together 😌 The board will take care of the recipe & the ingredients, so you only have to bring something to take your vegan cheese home! A group will be made to discuss further information.

✨️March overview✨️

Better late than never, our activity for March is here 😊 We have planned some fun & chill activities for you this month! All links to sign up are in our bio!

On *Friday 6th of March* we will be having a borrel at cafe Einstein, which has veryyyy nice vegan snacks on their menu.

On *Tuesday 10th of March* we will be hosting our fan-favourite movie night, this time at Ekklesia. A group chat will be made to pick a movie 🎬

On *Sunday 29th of March* Tamara will host a polymer clay workshop, which we are super excited about 🫶🫶

*Potluck & Karaoke*

On Friday 9th of January, we're gonna eat together at Ekklesia and then go to Pavarotti for a karaoke night 🎤✨️ This is the perfect chance to show off your beautiful singing skills 🫡😌

You can join both the potluck and karaoke, or either of them. We ask a 8,50 attendance fee for the karaoke to cover the costs.

Here's January's activity overview!

🎇Sunday the 4th of January we will be celebrating the new year by cooking a 3 course meal at Ekklesia!🍽️

🎤Friday the 9th of January we will, as we have gathered enough votes, eat together at Ekklesia first and then sing our lungs out at karaoke🤪

📚Wednesday the 14th of January we will have a study, read, creative session (or something else, do whatever you like!) at Ekklesia, where we can motivate each other to try that hobby you've always wanted to try or work on something you've been procrastinating.
*This event is also open to non-members*

🍿Monday the 26th of January we will have a movie night again!

Sinterklaas is around the corner!🍬👟🎁🏠 Don't have anything planned yet this Wednesday evening? Come join us on a cosy potluck and Sinterklaas evening where we will be playing a game to divide all the presents. You can sign up through the link in our bio!

This Sunday we will be painting our new favourite mug!🎨☕ Don't forget to sign up through the link in our bio🖌️

We still have the exhibition and mug painting to look forward to, but here's already the overview of December!🎄

🎁🎲 Sinterklaas evening! On Wednesday the 3rd of December, after we tried the dishes everyone brought, we will be playing the game of 'dobbelen' (rolling the dice). Everyone should bring two gifts with a total worth of 10 euro's. A set of rules will divide the gifts among us.

🎶🕺🏼 Basement's event in the Wibar! On Saturday the 6th of December we will be dancing to some nice drum and bass music. It's still possible to buy a group ticket to make it a bit cheaper :). Depending on the amount of people we can look if we can chill somewhere beforehand.
