No thinking, no reflecting
Perfect emptiness:
Yet therin something moves,
Following its own course.
That is mushin or munen, emptiness. This is very important in martial arts as proficiency in martial arts is not merely a technical skill. Training the mind is equally important.

Today we had to say goodbye to Kees Bruggink Shihan. I still can't comprehend that he is no longer with us. I will miss him very much and am thankfull for everything he has taught me through the years. He was a great budoka and a wonderfull human. We will continue his legacy and remember him through our training!
