Yesterday, they kicked things off by meeting and exploring NHL Stenden and today, they’re diving into the fantastic facilities at Firda !🚀✨ This is a fantastic opportunity for everyone involved to learn from each other and create impactful solutions for a greener future in fashion! 💚👗

📖 Redbad: Europees project over de mythische Friese koning

Wie was koning Redbad (ca. 670-719) en hoe zag de wereld eruit waarin hij leefde? Samen met acht partners uit Nederland en Duitsland gaan we de komende jaren werken aan een grootschalig onderzoeks-, publieks- en onderwijsproject over Redbad en het vroegmiddeleeuwse Frisia.

Onder leiding van het Fries Museum & Keramiekmuseum Princessehof bundelen we in Nederland de krachten met Firda ,Mythemakers , Fryske Akademy en Rijksuniversiteit Groningen (University of Groningen) en in Duitsland met het Ostfriesisches Landesmuseum Emden, Ostfriesische Landschaft, en het Niedersächsisches Institut für historische Küstenforschung om deze geschiedenis toegankelijk te maken.

Het project omvat niet alleen een tentoonstelling (2026 in Leeuwarden, 2027 in Emden), maar ook een wetenschappelijke publicatie, een publieksboek, een onderwijsprogramma voor PO-VO-MBO en een historische role playing game!

Learning Hub Friesland zal het werkpakket Onderwijsprogramma coördineren. Dus meteen maar een OPROEP!

Voor het STEAM & Sports project organiseren wij samen met onze internationale onderwijspartners in maart een training in Skopje, Noord-Macedonië.

Tijdens de training komen docenten uit verschillende landen (Spanje, Noord-Macedonië, Servië, Kroatië & Nederland) samen en gaan we ons verdiepen in het ontwerpen en geven van vakoverstijgende lessen voor leerlingen van 10-15 jaar. Natuurlijk is er ook nog wat vrije tijd om de mooie stad Skopje te ontdekken.

De trainingsdagen zijn 17, 18 & 19 maart. De kosten van reis en verblijf worden gedekt vanuit ons Erasmus+ project.
