Girls Empowerment supports talented girls one by one! We assist girls setting their own agendas, gaining skills, building self-confidence, solving problems and self- reliance.
Several years after a war that lasted over 10 years, the young girls in Lakka Beach, Sierra Leone, are still trying to build up a future in their community. The Christmas Market is one of Girls Empowerments numerous initiatives and a great opportunity for girls to develop business skills and to make a living- reducing risks of exploitation due to poverty and increase of tourism in the area.
