✨ The first chapter begins! ✨

What a special day! We officially opened the Optimist International Academy with inspiring speeches by Mr. Symmons and Mrs. Ferreira, a ribbon-cutting ceremony, and our students receiving their very cool new hoodies. And, of course, we celebrated with cake! 🎂

It was a wonderful and memorable moment, and we’re so excited for everything this new school year will bring. Here’s to a fantastic year ahead! 🩷📚✨

We’re off! 🎉
The first day of school is packed with activities. Students are getting active, creating beautiful screen prints and graffiti, making music — and, of course, catching up with each other!

It’s so wonderful to see the school come to life again!

😃Today we kicked off our first OIA event with our students. The welcome event. Our MYP1 and MYP2 came to their new campus today to meet their classmates and mentor. It was an afternoon full of “sparking curiosity” and icecream! 🍦

Today, our Grade 8 students are visiting to meet their new secondary school class for the very first time! 🎉

Excitement, new faces, and first impressions. Some students are still a little shy, while others are already chatting away and making new friends. 😊

In the new school year, they’ll get to know each other even better through lessons, activities, and of course our school camp, where new friendships will really start to grow! 🏕️✨

We can’t wait to welcome them all back and see this new group come together. 💛
