For our Module 10: Creative Management & Organisation, students received the assignment to organise an international writing camp for three days in a vacation house in the Netherlands!

In March, Rebecca organised the women only camp for Academy students from Hilversum, Paris and Milan in Eibergen. Three days of full focus on collaboration, music and lots of fun surrounded by horses and cats outside. It was a success! ☀️

We’re back with another evening of Module 3: Group Work & 1-on-1 Feedback at the Academy in Paris. One of the most special things about the Academy is the mix of talent in the room. During these hands-on sessions, students learn from each other through collaborative songwriting and production.

Today’s Recording & Mixing class in Hilversum was a special recording workshop with 🥁

Our students got the chance to prepare, setup and participate to a recording session with 2 different ensembles. It turned out to be an amazing way to see the techniques students learned about the past months and use them in these specific scenarios!

This week Clarissa led an inspiring guest lecture in Studio 2, diving into writer’s block and creative writing techniques. The group impressed with their knowledge and eagerness to learn. This in turn made the session dynamic and insightful at the same time. After discussing strategies to overcome creative hurdles the students headed straight into making music, applying what they learned in real-time. It was a hands-on evening dedicated to turning ideas into action and sharpening their songwriting skills.

Monday’s class was all about combining creativity with focused learning. One group worked with Reaubeau in Studio 1 and received detailed feedback on their tracks—a valuable step in refining their production skills. Meanwhile the other group joined Clarissa Schöppe upstairs for an insightful session on music genres and toplining, diving into the art of crafting compelling songs and lyrics. A strictly theoretical session for a change, but a crucial one to help our students grow as versatile and confident music creators.

Our classes are all about practical learning and real connections. Students get the chance to ask their burning questions about music production and their careers in one-on-one sessions. At the same time groups work together in the studio, creating and fine-tuning their tracks. It’s all about growing skills and making music that matters.
