Pop-up school is an initiative by Nova College. We currently organise international pop-up projects During these projects the working language is English.

POPUPSCHOOL is an initiative by Nova College that currently organises international pop-up projects in Malaga, Berlin, and Liverpool, possibly more future locations. Students of the courses IVS/Junior Account Manager, Media Designer/Manager, Beauty Stylist, International Trading andTechnician co-operate in business projects in mentioned locations. The concept behind it is that they choose excellen

t Dutch students that will stay in Malaga/Berlin/Liverpool for 4 weeks to learn the Spanish/German/English language. During these weeks they will work on a project for a company or organisation. There willl be different projects and different groups in each city. A teacher of Nova College will manage the projects in collaboration with 1 or 2 student coaches. It adds a lot of benefits that a student and that the organisation can gain from these. (See flyer)

“Het is ons opgevallen dat de Spanjaarden erg beleeft en geïnteresseerd zijn. Ze vinden het leuk om te horen wat we hier precies doen en wat onze ervaringen zijn.
We vinden het erg mooi om te zien hoe schoon de stad is en hoe beleeft alle mensen zijn. Je zal hier nooit iemand zien die zijn kauwgom uitspuugt op straat. Iedere ochtend worden de straten hier schoon gemaakt. We vinden het vooral leuk om naar het strand te gaan met zijn allen. Ook alle restaurantjes zijn erg gezellig om even wat te drinken of om wat te eten. Een van de mooiste plekken vinden wij het dakterras van het AC Hotel je hebt hier een heel mooi uitzicht op de kathedraal, oude stadsmuur en de haven.”

Het bedrijf waar ik de komende weken voor werk, heet NCCC (Netherlands Czech Chamber of Commerca). Zelf vind ik het een heel leuk en leerzaam bedrijf. De ondernemer was erg enthousiast en blij om ons te ontvangen, omdat ze leuke opdrachten klaar had liggen die we van te voren moesten doen. Deze opdrachten waren zeer leerzaam, dynamisch en toepasselijk.
