A beautiful tv movie about the landscape diversity in Nationaal Park Zuid-Kennemerland! The ranger explains the different ecological zones:
1. Established Foredune: protecting us against floods
2. Secondary Dunes, open and windy, with blow outs and aeolian sand deposits
3.Dune forest near the beautiful 17th century manors from rich VOC merchants
Do you recognise the incision? Made to invite the sea to increase dynamics and enlarge biodiversity! The Green Adventures 2 students from Tourism Management Inholland Haarlem are invited to research sustainable Tourism management in this park for PWN!

Greenies guided the HTRO Inholland Haarlem - HBO Toerisme students around in Vatnajökull National Park to Svartifoss waterfal embeded in thw typical volcanis hexagonal basalt rock. A beautiful easy hike which was supprisingly steep for the Dutchies. The effort was rewarded with the fresh water from the glacie! Friday afternoon the Green Adventures went to the Blue Lagoon Iceland to do surveys and relax in the the warmth of the Geothermal water. Do you know why their face are WHITE in the Blue Lagoon?

Visitors management at Gullfoss Waterfall in order to avoid erosion and desertification is a response from the icelandic nature conservation department. The impact of tourism on Iceland is extremely high because the soil is very easily washed away and very few species can life in the tundra climate. HTRO Inholland Haarlem - HBO Toerisme students were asked to advice the Landvernd umhverfisverndarsamtök to bridge the gap between the adventurous image and the desired identity of a fragile nature. Do you have suggestions what could be done to make the destination more sustainable?
