Sunday has arrived, and with it, that familiar “Sunday Scary” tide. 🌊✨
The end of winter break always feels a bit bittersweet. It’s hard to trade the slow mornings and quiet rest for the early alarms and the beautiful, loud chaos of a classroom. As a teacher, it’s easy to feel the weight of tomorrow’s “waves” before the sun even comes up.
But I created this drawing to remind myself: The waves are strong, but I can swim.
Deep down, I know that as soon as I see those faces, the magic will return. I’m trading my quiet for their silly jokes, their gap-toothed smiles, and the pure, unfiltered magic of childhood. Tomorrow is another chance to be the person who makes a difference in their world.
I am recharged, I am ready, and I was made for these waters. See you soon, scholars! 🧜♀️🍎
