Greetings from Voys !
Feels so good to be back to facilitate one of the trainings that I designed with a lot of joy, the Unconscious Bias training- How to turn unconscious bias into conscious inclusion.
I'm so grateful for the positive response it got when we first ran it at the beginning of the year. Participants said that it's such a versatile training, more colleagues would benefit from it! I met some of the first participants today; they shared that they are still applying their learnings! ♡
The start of the second round of workshops was today and the new group was simply awesome! Can't wait for the next sessions!
We plan again 4 half day workshops full of exploration and interaction! Wow, how fun and easy it is to learn about ourselves and others when we are brave, open and curious! Let's play!

Life time learning ♡ participating now in this IoPT (Identity Oriented Psycho Trauma Theory) with Professor Dr. Franz Ruppert.
He developed the theories and practice of IoPT over the last 30 years. This framework was developed using existing theories and experiences gained through individual and group therapy sessions.

Insights from the EMCC Global conference 2024

Looking back with joy and gratitude at the "Unconscious Bias" training I held at Voys!
4 workshops, each consisting of 4 hours of activities, in 4 consecutive weeks
12 participants with diverse work experience and roles in the company
Countless insights on both sides, reflections, bias awareness, embodied learning, discussions, critical inquiries and most importantly, many ideas on how to transform unconcious bias into conscious inclusion. What a rich and playful co-creation it was!
I'm thankful to Stella Tsoutsouri for inviting me to hold this training and to all participants @ Voys who put their heart in the processes and made this experience unique. To be continued!

It was such a pleasure to hold Tuesday a workshop on constructive dialogue as a tool in addressing unconscious bias !

For now I can simply tell you that I'm thankful for the aha moments shared by our participants and grateful to them for allowing themselves to open their minds and hearts into awareness and ..also to linger a bit in what they called " emotional hangover " after our exploration. :) ♡

Feeling pround to work at the Faculty of Psychology at the University of Groningen part time and freelancer part time.
The university now places 139th out of 1500 universities around the world. RUG takes 6th place in the rankings of Dutch universities
I can say with joy that I have found my balance in work, getting energy from what I do, feeling like I'm following my vision.

WOHASU® & The World Happiness Summit @ Como ended a few days ago, but our mission is just starting.
Let's put wellbeing first, in our personal life, in our work.
It is time to care for ourselves so we can have the energy to promote a reappraisal of the goal of our society = "people’s wellbeing – their enjoyment of life, their sense of satisfaction and of fulfillment. Income is not enough .."
How come policy makers state they want positive outcomes but measure and promote the negative? stress, misery, depression?
If we treasure wellbeing, we should measure it and promote ways to reach it, not focus all our skills and resources in treating the wounded, saving the hurt.
Let's instead use our skills in living healthy, flourishing, caring for each other and the earth - let's channel our resources in _preventing_ to be hurt, miserable, burned-out.
You maybe have an idea how to do this for yourself, but are you curious how to achieve this on a bigger scale? Read the WOHASU manifesto! Prof Lord Richard Layard drafted some ideas about how to build a better world, with sustainable wellbeing and much less misery.

Reminiscing about this autumns' program Train the trainer - Masters of Didactics in Warsaw, Poland.
What a joy it was to be there as a guest trainer! I've met so many wonderful and inspiring people from our university and from the University of Warsaw! Looking forward to grow the plans we made together
