Learn Dutch or English with Carla I am a self-employed professional and experienced language teacher (English and Dutch) who believes anyone can learn a second language ánd enjoy doing it.

My native language is Dutch. Registered as Da Silva Taaltraining en Studiebegeleiding. Was born and bred in The Hague and in spite of my Portuguese name I am a native speaker of Dutch. After I got my master’s degree in English Language and Literature, I worked at the public Gymnasium for many years, and later I started teaching Dutch as well. I worked for several years at the RUG Language Center

and the Hanze Hogeschool, and recently started as a self-employed teacher of Dutch and English, here in Groningen, where I’ve lived for 30-odd years. I teach Dutch at all levels, both privately and in pairs of small groups. English I teach level A2 to B2/C1 in small groups in which we practice fluency and pronunciation by discussing a variety of topics. All lessons are now online.
