Ever heard of boars taking over the streets of Rome? 🐗🇮🇹
 
During COVID, with everyone stuck inside, wild boars started roaming the city, and ruling the empty streets. It’s from this phenomenon that the Boars Team, composed of CMGT alumni, thought “Boars in Rome” sounded like a cool album name, and so it became the title of their parkour game.
 
Set in a twisted version of Rome, they wanted to capture the feel of places you know with a dystopian and industrial edge like Mirror’s Edge, Half-Life 2 or Dishonored. The game started as a solo Unreal Engine elective project that became a duo, and now the Boars Team is a passionate team of 4.

The one place that roller coaster Tycoon hasn’t touched S yet….SPAACEE🌌

Made by alumni Noah Lip, Coasteroid blends roller coaster tycoon chaos with planet-building freedom. Design mind-bending rides that use gravity like never before; interplanetary loops, tunnels carved through asteroids, and rocket launches that send trains flying off the track! 🎢✨

🌲 Animal crossing meets animals in the wild🦌

Staatsbosbeheer looks after the Netherlands’ national forests, but too many kids were growing up without a real connection to nature. So a group of year one CMGT students got together and made Wildlife Researchers. 📸

Snap a photo and it lands in your sticker notebook with a cool fact about that creature. The more trails you explore, the bigger your collection grows. Compare notebooks and spot what the other person missed. The forest is full of surprises, and it’s always better together. 🐸🦋🔍

Disco Elysium meets pathologic… ⚔️🎲

You are Faceless, your past erased. In this visceral dice-based RPG, every choice doesn’t just change your story, it literally reshapes your appearance, your skills, and your identity. Is it a bird, is it a plane?… Drone It is the game!!

“Drone It” is the game made by the student group Knakworst Studios for their second year end of year project. The game was made for their client Noorderport, who wanted a gamified digital tool that drone piloting students could use outside of school hours.

The gameplay is meant to replicate how pilots fly in real life, allowing them to track the drone with their owns eyes from a distance. It supports both real drone controllers and standard gaming controllers, keeping the experience open to every student!
