Recently I started learning how to do a flip turn in the swimming pool. It's disorienting, it's uncomfortable, and it's no wonder that I can't get it straight right away. However, I know I won't make progress if I stop trying. The very first step always SEEMS the most terrifying, but once you make it, you're already on the right track.
