The Rotterdam Marathon-15-04-2012
Precisely a week ago (15th of April 2012) Kolnyang Education Foundation (KEF) participated in the Rotterdam marathon which was sponsored by the ABN AMRO.
This was the second time that we run for the Rotterdam marathon and hopefully we continue doing it! Kolnyang Education Foundation is heart wholly very thankful to our 16 runners, the buddies, Rotterdam University, RISA, Restaurant Kralingsen, Café’ Beurs, WestCord Hotel and Infamous.

stichting 'KEF' is een organisatie die kinderen in Zuid Soedan helpt aan een beter toekomst. Door geld in te zamelen en acties te houden proberen zij een netwerk op te bouwen om zo scholen te kunnen realiseren in het dorp Kolnyang.

Tijdens het benefit concert heeft de stichting 730 euro opgehaald. Dit met dank aan Helga buitelaar en de kinderen van de " zangwerkplaats".

The theme that the runners chose for sponsoring this year was STOP: STOP child abuse, STOP drug use amongst youths, STOP discrimination and exclusion from society, STOP lack of education) A group of enthusiastic students also worked very hard raising money for five charities:
