Meet our first child, Helios! Over the last few months we have used him to conduct a variety of tests and learn a lot of insightful lessons.

Battered and bruised, he has gone through many crashes and tumbles, so we’re decided to show some appreciation to the little fella!

We’re excited to announce that we’ve finished packing and are heading to the UK for the UAS Challenge next week! We can’t wait to put our drone and our teamwork to the test against some of the best student teams out there.

Meet the Leadership Behind Drone Team Twente! ✨
Behind every successful mission, there’s a strong team of leaders making it happen!

💡 Our management team ensures that we stay on track, innovate, and push the boundaries of drone technology. Here’s how we make it work:

As Team Manager, you are head responsible for the team. You are good at keeping an overview and speaking in front of the press. You work closely with the other managers and support everyone in the team to make sure we accomplish our goals.

The Technical Manager oversees the technical sub-teams and makes sure we deliver a working drone at the end of the year. By keeping track of all parts and deadlines, you ensure the drone gets built and wins prizes as a result.

As an External & Financial Manager, you’ll sustain and grow sponsor relationships, manage budgets, assess financial risks, and approve team expenses. You’ll collaborate with other managers to ensure budgets are complied with and team needs are met.

As a Marketing Manager (1 Full or Part-timer | Open position)!
Show the world what the team is doing in the news, on social media, and on the website. You’ll be responsible for the graphic design and branding of our drone and DroneTeam. You’ll also organize our events such as the drone reveal.
