Screen time, gaming, and social media... oh my! 📱🎮

Tonight was all about empowerment and education at our latest parent theme evening. We gathered parents from across our primary and secondary campuses to dive into the world of gaming and social media addiction.
A massive shoutout to Laurens J. Veltman (from digitalawareness.nl) for sharing such eye-opening insights! He made a complex topic easy to understand and actionable for our families.
At IST, we believe it takes a village. We love seeing our parents show up as partners in education, helping us guide our students through the digital age with wisdom and balance. 💡✨

We celebrated our final day with our favorite traditions: watching our House videos and sharing a homemade Christmas brunch. 🥞🍓

DP1 visited the University of Twente on Monday, December 15. They were welcomed with an information session on Bachelor Programs. This was followed by a workshop on Business Administration by one of IST’s own parents, ms. Jezdimirovic Ranito. After lunch they got a sunny tour of the campus. It was a successful and inspirational visit. Thank you all for making this happen for our students!

🎶 A Night to Remember at 🎼

We are bursting with pride for our talented IST students who took to the stage and absolutely shined at the Concert@Zuid tonight! They successfully auditioned to be a part of this amazing event and represented our school brilliantly.
A huge shout-out and thank you to the Music Department for the fantastic organization. What a truly spectacular evening of music and talent of both IST and !
We were promised a night to remember, and it certainly delivered for the rest of the year! Well done, everyone!

What a memorable night! 🌟 Tonight, IST proudly hosted our IGCSE Graduation Ceremony!
Seeing our students receive their hard-earned certificates filled us with immense pride. We are so incredibly proud of the dedication and resilience they have shown.
Wherever their next path takes them—be it further studies in IBDP or other new adventures—we know they are prepared for success. Congratulations to all our incredible graduates! We can’t wait to see what you achieve.

🏰 Year 7 Visit to Paleis Het Loo: A Resounding Success!
Our Year 7 students had a fantastic and highly successful visit to Paleis Het Loo today!🌳
It was a wonderful opportunity for them to step back in time, explore the stunning former royal residence, and see history come alive outside the classroom. The students were engaged and curious throughout the day, showing great interest in the palace’s rich history and beautiful gardens. 👑
A big thank you to the staff and students for making it such a memorable and educational trip!

✨ Respect Week Highlight! ✨
We were honored to welcome Alderman Arjan Kampman from to our secondary school as part of the Week of Respect! 🤝
Alderman Kampman visited our brilliant Year 7 class, and we had fantastic discussions about what respect means in our community and beyond. He was so impressed by their insightful questions and engagement that he has now extended a very special invitation! 🎉
The entire Year 7 class is invited to visit him at the City Hall (Gemeentehuis)! We are incredibly excited for this opportunity for our students to see local government in action.
